David John Broadhurst is on the left.  The scout on the right is unidentified.

David John Broadhurst, uncle of Carter Broadhurst (Troop 21 Eagle Scout # 64) earned his eagle rank on March 15^th, 1921.  He is wearing what looks like troop number ‘1’ on his collar.  At this time it would have been troop 1 of Nochaway Council based in Albany or even what we believe to have been a council based in Americus in the early 1920s named Aumuckalee.  Aumuckalee merged into Nochaway Council in the early 1920s after only a few years of operation.

 The unknown scout (right) might be David Carter’s older brother, Roland Sloan Broadhurst Jr., but the National Eagle Scout database does not have that name as an Eagle Scout.
