1998 Summer Camp Patch

Issued for the 50th Anniversary of Camp Osborn.  The patch on the left has 1988 on it and is an error. The entire order arrived with the error and had to be reordered.  The patch on the right is correct (at least as intended) and has 1998 on it. The actual anniversary date is a matter of where you start.  The property was transferred to the scouts and the first summer camp was held in 1943.  But, the official dedication ceremony was not held until 1950.  I can not associate any event with 1948 that would produce this 50th anniversary.
